mosques with impressive architecture

can you identify all the three mosques?

where are these mosques located?

hajjah faitmah mosque, beach road; sultan mosque, muscat street; and abdul gaffoor mosque, dunlop street.

cannot give any clue, otherwise using the key words, you can 'google' the answer.

i used to stay with a relative - during the school holidays - whose house was about 100 metres from one of these mosques but i had not known of its existence until i happened to eat teochew porridge at one of the shops along the same street many, many years later.

most of the worshippers of this particular mosque are indian muslims.

1. Hajjah Fatimah Mosque
Location: 4001 Beach Road Singapore 199584

2. Sultan Mosque
Location: (Kampong Glam) 3 Muscat Street Singapore 198833

3. Abdul Gaffoor Mosque
Location: (Little India) 41 Dunlop Street Singapore 209369

Actually, I cheated. I only know photo no. 2 - Sultan Mosque. But you forgot that there's Google Image Search. Do a google search using keywords "singapore mosques" and the answer script presents itself.

So next time, cannot even tell us what type of building they belong to. The first photo was taken at such an angle that made it look more like a church than a mosque. For the other two photos, it is obvious that they are mosques.

all three mosques are gazetted national monuments. sultan mosque was built in 1826, hajjah fatimah in 1846 and abdul gafoor mosque in 1907. two other mosques which are also national monuments are al abrar mosque and jamae mosque.
