how do you interpret this sign?
this afternoon, i travelled to one of the suburbs in melbourne and, as i came to the end of a path, i spotted this unusual sign. it is unusual because i do not think that such a sign exists in singapore.
what do you think is the message behind (or below) this sign?
could it be...
a fork in the road?
paths merging ahead?
divided lane ahead?
watch out for tree roots!?

I thought it meant, "to peep at nude bathers, look through this hole". :p
the sign is different from most other signs. when something is prohibited or not allowed, the usual representation is a diagonal line across the sign. maybe, the intended message is 'nude bathing allowed here'.
